For as long as I can remember I've always wanted to be a mother, and to be doing something creative. I found my love for photography when I was around 19 years old and have been photographing newborns and families since 2015. I'm the kind of person that probably has a pretty rock in her pocket because I'm sentimental and obsessed with heartfelt detail. As a mother, and especially as a mother to a micro-preemie/liver transplant warrior, I know within my bones how each day and every seemingly ordinary moment in life is a gift. My passion as a photographer is to capture those gifts, the authentic, magical moments and the depth of the feelings behind them for you. I want to help you tell the story of your family's life as it really is right now....before it changes, as any parent painfully knows it will, without warning.

I'm a city girl at heart living in the suburbs with my firefighter high school sweetheart and our two children. You can probably find me in my garden or cleaning up my kids toys for the billionth time in the day.

To put it lightly, I am completely obsessed with gardening. Back when my husband and I lived in Quincy, we had a tiny raised bed garden in our little yard, and it brought me so much joy! Now that I live on nearly two acres I'm constantly dreaming about expanding my garden, my hope is that someday it will truly replace the need for a lot of grocery store produce. I've also got some dreams about planting a magical wildflower garden and hosting mini sessions in it!

I could never live in a land-locked state. My body and soul simply need the ocean! When I was a kid, my family spent a lot of time at the beach, and when I take my kids now I feel like I'm transformed back into a child jumping and diving around in the waves. One of our favorite things to do is to leave the house around 4, pick up a pizza on the way and get to the beach just in time to not have to pay to park...then we stay until after sunset, I get the kids rinsed and in their pajamas, and they fall asleep on the way home! Perfection.

I may have grown up in the city, but my heart belongs in the wild. Many of my summers as a child and then a teenager were spent hiking the White Mountains in New Hampshire and that solidified a deep love and appreciation of nature in me. I love taking my dog for a quiet walk as just the two of us and stopping frequently along the way to notice what magic I might come across.

Allison is a gift. We did a beautiful sunrise session with her when my little one was around a year old. Allison has a way of putting you right at ease and making the process fun, which as someone who is awkward in front of a camera is a huge win. When I tell you the images she took are some of my all time favorite photos, I am not exaggerating. She is so talented and a true joy to work with! I can’t wait to book her for future sessions!

We loved working with Allie for newborn photography! She made us feel so comfortable prior to and during the session; she was so great at working with us and our baby with all of the inevitable pauses for feeding, diaper changes, etc. Also was so patient and amazing about including our dogs in the photos, too. 😅 Allie made us feel at ease which led to beautiful, natural looking photos that we will truly treasure forever.
